Can you believe that it has been 2 years since I’ve had a cold or the flu? I have friends all around me that are getting sick (including my husband) and yet I still make it through
the seasons with my health intact. What have I been doing to keep this streak alive for so long?
3 Ways to Avoid The Cold & Flu Season
Drink More Water – It’s amazing how much water that our bodies really need which is so much more than the typical 8 glasses a day. That is a great start but we need a large intake of water to flush out all of the toxins and impurities out of our system. My goal is to drink 100 oz of water every day.
Consistent Exercise I have been working out 6 days a week for 15 minutes / day. As you can tell from my About Me page, it was vital for me to find the most effective, efficient workout regime with my
super busy lifestyle.
Multi-Vitamins Although I try my best to eat nutritious food, there are times when I don’t do well with my eating plan. I believe that it is so awesome that an 8 year old and a 4 year old are asking about their health and making mental notes as they go about their lives. Need a way to keep track of your fitness on the go? MyNetDiary.com is one of the best fitness and weight loss phone apps that I’ve found that keeps track of
my calorie counts, exercise regimen and body measurements. I’ve tried Calorie Counter and some other applications but MyNetDiary.com is the most comprehensive application for the Blackberry or Iphone.
There is a food catalog (88,000 food database) to choose from various food types as well as an option to add in your custom foods. It is fast and easy to enter your foods and it stores previously entered food for you.
The versatility is incredible. You have the option to update via your PC or your mobile and both are updated in real time. I can’t tell you the number of times that I’ve been at an outing and wanted to add in my calorie count after I inhaled my food.
People have more success in their weight loss journey by keeping a food journal. One of my best friends recently lost 9 lbs just by using MyNetDiary.com with no exercise! Nutrition is a major contributing factor to your weight loss.
I have been super busy in the last 3 weeks and haven’t worked out (bad girl) and I have recently lost 4 lbs just by keeping a food journal. I do plan to get
back on track with my exercise regimen, but it’s awesome to know that I’m still losing those unwanted pounds just by tracking my nutrition.
