No it really does give you energy. I always drink about a 1/4 before my workout and it really gets me going. I probably wouldn't working half as much as I do if it weren't for Shakeology! Constipation could come from a host of reasons. Depends on how you ate before, what you eat now, do you drink enough water, etc...

I just started the chocolate and I really like the taste with a banana. I have noticed headaches after drinking it but I am thinking that may be caffeine withdrawal as since I started it I haven't been drinking my morning coffee.

Yes - I bought it 3 weeks ago and have been using it in conjunction with doing the P90X, as a breakfast. Unfortunately the product gives both my husband and I horrible stomach issues - we both get diarrhea and I get horrible nausea that lasts for around 6 hours. Today I actually had to throw up behind a tree at a park, just 3 hours after drinking it as my morning breakfast. Since having these reactions, I've researched and found that many people experience them as well. Who knows why. Some people with good reactions say that you get it if you are a junk food eater, but that's not true because my hubby and I eat only unprocessed foods and yet Shakeology hit us like a mack truck! We can't take it any more, and are sending it back for the full refund. :(

I have only had the chocolate. I LOVE IT. I use 1/2 a banana and skim milk (1 cup) and then I add a ton of ice in a blender. It's awesome. I save it for the evening, which I'm not sure if that's good or bad... . but It's like a chocolate shake at the end of the day.... and if I have a sweet craving..... well, it's gone! Lost 14 lbs so far......

Bought mine about a week ago. Like the taste. What I don't like is the in between state of nausea and dizziness. I don't have these symptoms until I have the shake. Giving it some more time though. I'll update later and let you guys know if it's just my body detoxing.

Hi Gaby, the key thing that you said is that you don't count your calorie intake. Nutrition is 80% of the battle. If you aren't keeping track of calories and eating supportive meals every 3 to 4 hours, then you won't see much progress. Here is a chart that show how much you should be eating every day to lose weight. http://www.fatlossbyeatingwhatuwant.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/01/calorie_calculator2.xls Just add in your current age, weight etc and work on your nutrition.

Im 145lbs, 5, 7". Ive been trying to drop 15 lbs and it has been just so hard!! i work out 6 days a weeks by doing an insanity workout which is about 50 min long, I dont really count my calorie intake but usually eat a chicken salad for lunh and dinner and an acitvia yogurt for dinner. So i was wondering if replacing two of my meals with this shake might help me better because at least I know exactly how many calories im taking in?? What do you guys think

I tried a few packets of each flavor, purchased from one of the trainers at my gym, where they've all signed up as BB coaches and have since turned into a mild form of Mary Kay salespeople---always hawking this stuff.

I eat pretty clean most of the time but I like home-made smoothies (not the sugary kind I can get at the local Smoothie place in my city). I thought I'd give this product a try due to the impressive list of ingredients. Yes, the chocolate is better but I can deal with the greenberry.

I did not notice any improvement in energy levels or regularity, in fact a mild case of constipation followed, BUT, I am 51 and going through menopause and anything can happen. I am 5'4", 136 lbs, so yes a tad overweight but nothing so drastic that my body is functioning improperly.

So last weekend Consumer Reports published results of a test they did on various protein drinks (I realize that Shake is not a protein drink) and CR found that despite no mention on the label, that heavy metals like arsenic and cadmium were present at higher than acceptable levels. So I wrote Beachbody and asked if Shake had heavy metals in light of the report. I got a non-answer that directed me to the ingredients pdf and when I challenged them for a yes or no answer, I got the same response. Now, I don't suspect that Shake has heavy metals, but I was not impressed with their lack response and stepping up to defend their product considering that it would be a good PR move to proactively put anyone's fears to rest.

So all in all, not crazy-impressed. I'll put my money toward one-on-one personal training and skip the meal replacement. We have to learn how to eat proeprly for a lifetime anyway.
