<p>Have you ever avoided making a homemade pizza because you thought it would take hours to make? Well, I have a pizza recipe for you that fits perfectly with your healthy diet plans and the prep time for this delicious homemade pizza is only 20 minutes and then cook time is 15 minutes. This homemade pizza should be a part of your healthy eating plans. It tastes delicious and only takes about 35 minutes to make and serve. Recipe by registered dietician Jayson Hunter.</p>

<p><strong>Ingredients:</strong></p>
<p>1 12 ounce whole-wheat or whole-grain pizza crust, such as Boboli</p>
<p>1/4 cup pizza sauce</p>
<p>1/2 cup frozen spinach, thawed and drained well</p>
<p>1/4 small red onion, thinly sliced</p>
<p>1 cup shredded part skim mozzarella cheese</p>
<p>6 medium white mushrooms, sliced</p>
<p>1/4 cup part skim ricotta</p>
<p>2 Tbsp grated Parmesan</p>
<p>1 Tbsp Extra Virgin olive oil</p>
<p>2 tsps Balsamic Vinegar</p>
<p>6 oz of chopped chicken, cooked</p>
<p> 1. Cook 6 oz of chicken and then cut into small chunks.</p>
<p>2. Preheat the oven to 450 degrees. Place a large pizza pan or baking sheet on the bottom of the oven to preheat.</p>
<p>3. Spread the pizza sauce on the pizza crust followed by the spinach and onion. Then sprinkle with the mozzarella and mushrooms. Dollop the ricotta over the pizza and sprinkle wiht the parmesan. Spread the chopped chicken over the pizza and finish by drizzling the olive oil all over.</p>
<p>4. Carefully transfer the pizza to the preheated pizza pan or baking sheet that is in the oven. Bake until the crust is puffed and beginning to color at the edges and the cheese is melted. This should take about 10 minutes. Take the pizza out of the oven and then preheat the broiler.</p>
<p>5. Put the pizza back into the oven once the broiler is up to temperature and broil the pizza until the cheese is browned and bubbling. This will only take about 2-3 minutes. Pull the pizza out and let cool for 5 minutes. Sprinkle with the balsamic vinegar and slice and serve.</p>

<p>Since then I&#8217;ve been providing some of the best information that I&#8217;m using that has helped me to lose my belly fat.</p>
<p>I ran across these facts from Jayson Hunter, a registered dietitian for over 10 years and owner of <a href="http://yourprogradeproducts.com/protein-powder.html" target="_blank">Prograde Nutrition</a>. I am amazed at the wealth of information that I receive in regards to nutrition from him.</p>

<p>- Increased Protein intake triggers the hormone <strong>Glucagon</strong>.</p>
<p>- This, in turn, prevents the spiking of your Insulin (which is also a hormone) levels.</p>
<p>- Which simply means you minimize the chance of storing blood sugar as fat.</p>

In other words, eat more protein and you bust your belly flab. Sure, there&#8217;s more to it than that, but that is the crux of it. And so long as you understand the basics you can KEEP the belly flab from coming back.</p>
<p>When you only eat carbs your Insulin levels go through the roof. And all that blood sugar (that&#8217;s what the carbs turn into after you&#8217;ve eaten them) which isn&#8217;t needed by your body MUST go somewhere. Yup, it goes to your belly; or your butt; or your hips; or your thighs&#8230;</p>
<p>I can actually say that I&#8217;ve seen the results of this (I lost 6 inches in my belly fat in 3 months) by eating an omelet every day and adding protein shakes throughout my day. Of course, notice his words &#8220;there&#8217;s more to it&#8221; which are my 15 min / day workouts and a focused nutrition plan.</p>

<p>Is it ok for me to say the health care debate is driving me NUTS?</p>
<p>I know it&#8217;s a VERY touchy subject. I know people have VERY strong opinions about it.</p>
<p>But what nobody really wants to talk about is the fact we could simplify the heck out<br />
of this by doing one thing:</p>
<p><strong><span style="color: #ff0000;">Take better care of ourselves.</span></strong></p>
<p>We should make this priority #1 in the Obama Health Care Plan.</p>
<p>We have this incredible love affair with making things so complicated. It&#8217;s absurd really.</p>
<p>Small, simple changes to the way we live our lives and the entire country would be SOOO<br />
much healthier.</p>

<p>Let me give you an example in my own world:</p>
<p>I visited a family friend in the hospital over the weekend who was a high school state<br />
football champion. He has always been a big guy and worked out constantly with his team.</p>
<p>Well he graduated and there is no more football. No more physical exercise and his diagnosis:</p>
<p>Fatty liver, fatty gall bladder, fatty blood and a sluggish heart. He is only 20 years old and his<br />
doctor said that if he doesn&#8217;t make radical changes in his diet, he will die in less than 5 years.</p>
<p>The great thing is that he is taking this very seriously and as soon as he got out of the hospital,<br />
he started making some of those radical changes in his exercise and nutrition plan.</p>

<p>Small changes add up to BIG results. They always have and they always will.</p>
<p>Does it solve all of our problems? No. But does it solve a lot? Yes, it really does.</p>

What they actually do is help facilitate metabolic reaction in the body to create energy. They&#8217;re also necessary for a  healthy metabolism.</p>
