Wednesday mornings are full of mental gymnastics for me. Did I lose? Did I gain? I should have pushed myself more during cardio exercise yesterday. Ahh! I have been an athlete all of my life and I played T-ball, bowling, gymnastics, basketball, volleyball and track and field. I’ve always been into working out and naturally I was a skinny bean pole. I still can’t believe that my brother and I used to beg our mom to feed us pizza, steak and potatoes so we could get fat! We were too skinny! I was overjoyed when my body filled out more during my college years.
Motherhood is a whole new world. I’ve never had problem areas in my life until now. My worst area is my leftover belly fat. Thanks Jayden, 7 yrs old and Nelia, 3.5 yrs old! Here is a picture of the culprits.
Ok I guess they are cute so I can forgive them. My 2nd worst area are my thighs. I remember the days when my legs were the best feature on my body. I’m working on that and I will get back to those gorgeous legs. I actually like my big behind so I don’t call that a problem area. LOL Actually my husband told me that I better not LOSE that area or it’s over between us. Ha! Ha! I’m happy to report that my pants are sagging today. WOOHOO! I’m definitely losing my belly fat and my thighs are thinning out. I’m on my way. I’m loving the food plan (I hate diets) that I have and loving my cable on demand exercise program. Ok so my weigh-in for today is….Drum roll please….+0 No gain or no loss but I guess I can feel really good about my pants falling down!
